Swedish ferry company, Stena Line has secured a freight only vessel, Bore Song, to operate on its Dublin-Liverpool (Birkenhead) route. The ship will boost freight capacity on the route by 30%.

Postcodes in EORI records - change impacting AES and NCTS from 1st February 2024

This month, IIFA received notice from CLECAT of a significant change impacting all EORI-registered Economic Operators from 1st February 2024 onwards. As of this date, those without a valid postcode in their EORI records will be unable to use the NCTS and/or AES systems. Consequently, initiating transit or AES based export procedures will be impossible with an EORI registration lacking a postcode.
