The 2025 IIFA FIATA Diploma Graduation ceremony took place on Saturday 6th September 2025 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin Airport. Of 20 successful participants, 11 graduates were in attendance to receive their FIATA Diplomas from Irish International Freight Association.
While a smaller group than usual, the 2025 Graduation group was characterised by a high standard in their results, with an above average level of Merit and Distinction grades achieved. IIFA President Sandra Morrissey commented on the dedication of the Participants in attaining such a collective standard. International cargo transport requires a constant level of duty and care with every shipment, even regular business, to ensure as smooth as possible a flow of cargo through tightly timed connected carrier transfers and all against strict compliance procedures. The 2025 Graduates were praised for the professionalism they showed through their 10 months of study, all alongside their continued operations roles with their Employers.
In addition to their Diploma document from FIATA, each Graduate was also presented with a custom-made Glass Trophy from Irish International Freight Association in recognition of their hard work and success in achieving the FIATA Diploma.
IIFA are proud to continue to offer the FIATA Diploma and at the ceremony, Executive Officer Seamus Kavanagh highlighted that this was the 17th FIATA Diploma Graduation IIFA has hosted. Over 400 persons have attained the FIATA Diploma with study through IIFA since the initial class group across 2008 – 2009. The 2025 – 2026 IIFA FIATA Diploma course is already underway, with a class of 35 Participants. Among that group are 3 Participants based internationally, 2 within Europe and another in the Middle East. IIFA are authorised by FIATA to deliver this training in their name internationally and look forward to working with this new group over the months ahead.
